About Us

Meeting Place is a community of believers yielded to and pursuing the Presence of God in every area of our lives. As a church body, we’ve discovered the great joy of communion with Him. We hope to follow and attend to the Holy Spirit, live out the pages of the Bible and follow the example of Jesus. He truly does change everything. We’re a community encamped around His Presence, giving our lives to know Him and make Him known. 

“Meeting Place” came from the account of Moses creating a “tent of meeting” for him and God to meet– an ordinary space that soon would be made holy because of an extraordinary God. From one man’s desire to meet with the Lord, an entire community would eventually learn to build their lives around His Presence, the Tent of Meeting residing in the middle of their entire community. Millions of people encamping around the very Presence of God. 

Now, thousands of years later and on the other side of the life of Jesus, His victorious cross and glorious resurrection, and the beautiful infilling of the Holy Spirit, we find ourselves invited again to encamp around His Presence, attending to the precious Holy Spirit in our midst. We follow Him wholeheartedly, placing Him at the center of our lives and our community.
